Interventional Cardiologist
Interventional Cardiologist Outstanding Opportunity – Tasmania
Charles Clinic Heart Care is Tasmania's largest private cardiology group with locations in Launceston and Burnie. We provide high-quality, comprehensive cardiac care through a dedicated and supportive team of six in-house cardiologists, five visiting specialists and approximately 40 staff.
Currently, we deliver more than 40,000 services annually with a total patient population of approximately 70,000. Alongside our cardiology services, our clinic supports a range of non-cardiology specialists, offering modern consulting rooms and exceptional administrative support.
We are seeking a pleasant, caring, and experienced Cardiologist to be our primary Interventionalist. The ideal candidate will work effectively within a collaborative environment and possess the judgment and skill set to practice confidently without local cardiac surgical support.
You will have direct access to the new North West Private Hospital Cath Lab in Burnie and access to the Calvary St Vincent's Cath Lab in Launceston. Demand for angiography and angioplasty services has been growing progressively year on year. This role offers outstanding potential to build and expand on a thriving interventional cardiology practice over the long term.

Requirements:
Eligible for registration with AHPRA (Medical Board of Australia)
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) in Cardiology, or equivalent specialist overseas qualifications
Proven interventional cardiology experience and the ability to work independently and within a highly collegiate Cardiology team.
