Haematology Laboratory Technician
The laboratory at Ipswich is looking for a skilled and dedicated technician to join the team. The role involves contributing to all areas of diagnostic work in the Haematology laboratory, developing a broad range of skills and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake testing and processing of biomedical specimens, analysis and entering of results onto the computer system.
* Work flexibly to meet service needs, including extended working days and participation in a 24 hour, 7 days a week service.
* Supervise and/or train less experienced staff in own area of work and competency.
* Maintain and promote a professional image of the Pathology Department.
Requirements:
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Preferably have experience working at registrant level in a Haematology laboratory.
