Plant/Site: JBS Scone Plant
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled full time Electrician at our Scone Plant. We are seeking a passionate, energetic individual who is committed to providing effective professional service. This role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance across the plant where required. This is a full time position with the potential to earn $60,000 - $80,000 or more with additional allowances and/or overtime. Wages are paid according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets
* Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
* Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
* Communication with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues
* Understand and implement quality control techniques
* Proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
* Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
About you
* Two (2) years' min experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage
* A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
* Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
* Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
* Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.
