An established and respected property developer with decades of successful project delivery is looking to bring architectural expertise in-house. We're seeking an experienced Architect / Services Design Manager to join the team and take the lead on high-density residential developments from early concept through to construction.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and coordinate design and documentation across multi-residential projects
* Work closely with internal development and construction teams
* Produce high-quality detailing and construction documentation
* Oversee project coordination through all phases, ensuring smooth deliveryCommunicate clearly and effectively with consultants, authorities, and contractors
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 10 years' post-graduate experience as an Architect
* Proven experience on multi-residential projects – essential
* Australian project experience with strong knowledge of local codes and standards
* Proficiency in both Revit and ArchiCAD
* A stable employment history demonstrating commitment and reliability
* Strong analytical skills to assess design feasibility and project requirements.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Experience in customer service and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
* Basic understanding of finance principles in the context of project budgets and cost management.
* Proven experience in architectural and services design management.
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Your ability to problem solve and coordinate all facets of the design process, resolve issues and deliver a streamlined & efficient design are at the core of this role.
* Knowledge of the RAB Act, Design & Building Practitioners Act and use of the NSW Planning Portal
