Position Title – Senior Machinery Operator
You will be responsible for working to ensure that
crops are optimised through spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading,
cartage, and harvest. We have some of the latest technology and great
equipment. We pride ourselves on ensuring great crop health and progress and
you will be actively involved in assisting with the testing and recording of
grain quality as well as the safe storage and handling of grain during and
post-harvest.
We are seeking experienced operators for the daily farm operations including operation of agricultural plant and machinery.
This role is a full time role and will require you
to live and work in the Orana DAMA region.
About the Role
In this position you can expect to undertake the following activities;
* prepare and position plant and equipment for operations;
* operate of machinery and implements including: boom spray, spreader, air seeder, windrower, harvester as well as other cropping operations throughout the year.
* storage of grain in on site facilities;
* calibrating and monitoring plant performance, including adjusting speed, height and depth of implements as well as distribution or collection rates as needed;
* keep production and work records and writing work reports;
* inspect plant and perform minor repairs;
* undertake duties safely and actively participate in our safety training programs and requirements.

Services Pty Ltd was born from the merging of BFB and Daybreak cropping. We are
one of the largest cropping producers with 41 farms across 10 aggregations in
four states. With this exciting change brings opportunity and we are seeking a
great new assistant to support our Farm Manager.
About the property
With coverage across nearly 12,000 ha's Orana
Park is situated 16km west of Weethalle NSW and we work across a
further farm Albion Park located 11km east of Tullibigeal NSW
About You
• 2+ years' experience in broad acre grain cropping
production including the operation of all associated plant and machinery
including grain storage and handling technology.
• Innovative, participate in our digital journey as
we foster greater precision Ag technology and equipment across all areas of our
farming operations.
• Versatile and supportive - Work on the business
numbers with our operations teams in forecasting, budgeting and reporting of
crop, yield and applications.
• Strong safety focus and be able to work alone as
well as in a team environment.
• A valid driver's license, ideally MC.
• Ability to work alone.
Livestock experience not required – we don't
run any livestock, we are strictly broadacre and looking for your broadacre
experience.
