About the role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Berrimah, NT. This full-time role is key to supporting our service operations, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of chemical dosing systems across the Northern Territory.
What you'll be doing
* Installation and servicing of chemical dosing systems, including pumps, pipework, and containment
* Maintenance and repair of chlorine gas and liquid chemical systems
* Installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation piping and associated equipment
* Assisting with commissioning of system upgrades and refits
* Supporting site-based projects and responding to service callouts
* Maintaining safety standards and contributing to a collaborative work environment
What we're looking for
* Mechanical or plumbing trade qualification with relevant experience
* Experience working with chemical dosing or water treatment systems (preferred)
* Understanding of safe chemical handling practices and PPE requirements
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Current driver's licence; forklift licence is an advantage
