We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Fitter to join our dedicated maintenance team at our Rockhampton plant. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our mechanical equipment.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a team-oriented Fitter with a strong work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills. You can work effectively both within a team and independently.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Australian-recognised Trade Qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade).
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.
* Proven expertise with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
* Proficiency with a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
* Current & Valid Tickets:
o Working at Heights
o Confined Space Entry
o Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
