Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Denodo Developer with strong expertise in data virtualization, data integration, and data modelling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop Denodo views including base views, derived views, interface views, and summary views.
* Build and optimize Denodo data virtualization layers for various data sources.
* Implement data integration, federation, and abstraction using the Denodo Platform.
* Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Create and manage Denodo deployments, versioning, and promotion of views across environments.
* Develop REST/SOAP web services and APIs using Denodo.
* Perform performance tuning, query optimization, caching, and monitoring of Denodo solutions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data performance, connectivity, or Denodo platform behavior.
* Assist in creating documentation, best practices, and standards for Denodo development.
Technical Skills Required
* Strong hands-on experience with the Denodo Platform (v7/v8/v8.1 preferred).
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with multiple databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.).
* Experience with data modelling concepts, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.
* Experience in REST API and SOAP service development.
* Knowledge of Java, JDBC, ODBC, and related connectors (optional but advantageous).
* Hands-on knowledge of Denodo Scheduler, I18N, Caching, and Optimizer.
* Understanding of security concepts like SAML, OAuth, LDAP/AD integration.
Good to Have
* Experience working in cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
* Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
* Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
