The Role
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work both independently and collaboratively within the marketing team to produce written and visual content for social media and marketing collateral. With initial guidance from our Marketing, Research & Development Specialist, you will take ownership of day to day content creation, ensuring alignment with our brand and engagement with our audience.
This role is suited to a marketing professional with a few years' industry experience who is ready to contribute confidently while continuing to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
* Create engaging content that aligns with the vocational education and training brand.
* Capture and edit engaging photo/video content and visually appealing reels across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) in our training centre and offsite.
* Produce written content that promotes and supports the training and support we provide.
* Social Media Management:
* Schedule and publish posts across various platforms.
* Write captions and copy that align with our brand voice and resonate with our audience.
* Respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly and professionally.
* Report reach and engagement of posts
Collateral:
* Produce, update and organise printing of marketing and business collateral including stationery, flyers, merchandise, POS products etc
* Assist in the management of the website and google profiles.
* Manage and distribute merchandise
Research & Strategy:
* Stay current with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
* Research new social media trends and proactively recommend strategies to maximise reach and engagement.
* Assist in analysing data and producing reports to assist in the management and development of the business.
Administration:
* Review feedback and google reviews left by students and action as required.
* Accurate and efficient data entry
* Ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Perform general administration duties as assigned.
* Assist the Brand and Marketing Specialist on other projects from time to time.
Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with the Marketing, Research & Development Specialist to plan, produce, and post content.
* Work with trainers to minimise disruption to training to capture photos and videos.
About You
* Vocational or tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or digital media or related field, or relevant work experience.
* Graphic design skills for creating both print and digital
* Photography skills for capturing high-quality action images.
* Passionate about social media and digital marketing.
* Experience with managing social media platforms for business (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok etc)
* Strong writing skills and an eye for engaging content
* Highly organised with great attention to detail
* A team player who loves collaboration but can also work independently.
