Austek Roads are currently seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to fulfil a full-time position at our Hume based asphalt production plant.

About the Role
Our Hume asphalt production plant requires the skills of an Asphalt Plant Operator to keep up with the growing demand.
Position Requirements
Previous experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator is advantageous but not essential. Must be able to work both night and day shifts as required. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of industry-related standards and specifications
* Ability to work within tight deadlines in a quality manner
* Ability to carry out plant inspection checklists
* Maintaining a neat and tidy site and work area
* Actively participate in preventative maintenance, toolbox discussions and safety meetings.
