Cam Can is looking for a calm, reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join a small team supporting a young man with comprehensive support needs who is relocating to Busselton.
This is a meaningful, 1:1 role with a focus on building connection, providing safety, and supporting independence. Supports include daytime, community access (2:1), with the potential for active overnight support.
If you have experience with epilepsy, autism, or behaviours of concern - or you're a natural problem solver who stays calm under pressure - we'd love to hear from you!
- Some sort of experience in nursing, disability home care, and/or community work
- Understanding of Autism / experience supporting person with ASD level 3
- Seizure management
- Current first aid & CPR
- Personal Care
- Calm, confident, and quick to respond in crisis situations (especially medical emergencies)
- Comfortable supporting someone with intellectual disability, limited verbal communication
- Physically capable and emotionally resilient
- WA Driver's Licence with reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screen
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Effective team player

Pay: $36.23 - $86.05 per hour
