**About the role**: 
We are looking for a passionate Team Leader to join our disability support services to lead the operations of our SIL homes.
You will be responsible for managing a team of disability support workers whose role is to support the clients whilst in our care. Using your organizational and leadership skills we are looking for someone who can take the service to the next level and guide the team in providing high standards of supports and service.
The Team Leader manages the day-to-day operational requirements, work distribution and outputs of disability services and Support Workers across multiple locations in compliance with legislative, regulatory and funding guidelines and Marble Care policies and procedures.
The Team Leader is the key contact and relationship champion with individual clients and careers. They ensure a strong customer service ethos is implemented in the delivery of timely services. They seek to ensure any client complaints are dealt with at a local level to the satisfaction of clients and careers and in line with organizational expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the team complies with Disability Services Act Standards, other relevant legislation and Life Without Barriers policies 
- Manage conflict, provide coaching and developing opportunities and address performance issues within your team

- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability 
- Support the client in community participation programs 
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers 
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care 
- Manual handling including hoist transfers - manual, electric / assisted standing 
- Medication assistance 
- Assist with meal preparation 
- Willingness to work with individuals with complex behavior's of concern 
- Maintaining records of client progress

**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a team leader is preferred 
- Someone who has experience in mental health and personal care assistance 
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time 
- Ability to support participants to achieve social and self-care goals 
- Effective verbal and written communication skills 
- Certificate III in Individual Supports /Disability Cert IV or equivalent 
- Current First Aid and CPR 
- NDIS Worker Screening check 
- Current Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain 
- Current Australian Driver's License

Pay: From $33.03 per hour
