Overview Join us as a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Mental Health Services. We offer 3 opportunities with part‑time, full‑time, ongoing and fixed‑term positions to support excellence in mental health nursing education and practice.
About The Role As a CNE you’ll support and develop the mental health nursing workforce by coordinating education, clinical supervision and mentoring to promote evidence‑based, high‑quality care.
Coordinate and facilitate career development and education for mental health nurses.
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and wellbeing support.
Contribute to quality improvement, research translation and practice development initiatives.
Support undergraduate and entry‑level nurses through orientation, learning activities and feedback.
Role‑model best practice and trauma‑informed care in line with RMH MHS standards.
About You
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Nursing or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Minimum five years’ experience in public mental health clinical services.
Experience delivering clinical supervision and/or preceptorship.
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
