SA Health is seeking an exceptional individual to take on the role of Associate Director, Strategic Services Procurement and Contract Management.
This senior leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of service-based end to end procurement and contract management across South Australia's public health system.
Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will lead a high-performing team of professionals and oversee procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management for both clinical and non-clinical services—including the high-profile Central Adelaide Local Health Network Public Private partnership (PPP) contract.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of strategic services procurement initiatives across SA Health
Oversee major service contracts and PPP agreements, ensuring performance and compliance
Drive innovation, efficiency, and optimize commercial outcomes across the contract lifecycle
Provide authoritative advice to executive leadership and represent SA Health in high-level negotiations
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Champion continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and innovation
Promote a culture of safety, diversity, and professional development within your team

About You
We are looking for a highly skilled procurement leader with:
Extensive experience leading end-to-end procurement and contract management in large public sector organisations
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver strategic reform initiatives
Advanced strategic insight, financial acumen, and analytical capability
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Sound knowledge of SA Government procurement frameworks and public sector governance
Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk management, and continuous improvement
