Key Responsibilities of a Contract Administrator
* Prepare, review and negotiate building contracts to ensure clarity, compliance and fairness for all parties involved.
* Monitor the execution of contracts to ensure all terms and conditions are adhered to by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Maintain Prime for all contract records and correspondence, ensuring all documents are uploaded.
* Booking appointments / meetings where required for the Construction team, Supervisors and Clients. Attend regular Client meetings on-site with supervisor if required.
Project Administration Tasks
* Assist in the coordination and management of all phases of construction projects from start to finish.
* Prepare progress reports for Regional Manager and clients, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact the project.
* Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, clients and other relevant parties to resolve issues promptly.
Budget and Financial Control Responsibilities
* Monitor project costs and ensure profitability and managing any variations.
* Ensure all deposit, progress and completion invoicing is forwarded to finance for processing in a timely manner.
* All financial information including draft invoicing and transactions are recorded in Prime.
Requirements for Success in this Role
* A strong candidate will have 5+ years experience in contract administration.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite are essential, as well as experience in other programs and systems.
* Highly skilled in managing competing priorities, effective time management and organisational skills.
* Strong organisational and attention to detail skills.
* Excellent communication via phone and email correspondence – internal and external.
