Job Title:
School Psychologist
Key Responsibilities:
* Predominantly responsible for providing psycho-educational services to students in order to assess their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate behavior plans tailored to the specific requirements of individual or group students.
* Provide consultations to teachers and families on implementing evidence-based Tier 1 strategies in class.
* Collaborate with staff members to provide professional development and support on issues related to student mental health.
* Utilize multidisciplinary teams to work with outside agencies and professionals towards resolving challenges related to student(s) mental health.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Masters degree in School Psychology or equivalent education and experience may be considered.
* Familiarity with Inclusion and MTSS structures is essential.
* Proficient in assistive technology applications.
* Excellent interpersonal, team building, and decision-making skills are required.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and knowledge of Individual Program Plans (IPP) for students with challenging academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs.
