Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored support plans for each child and family, incorporating assessments, observations, and knowledge of child development.
* Empower families and caregivers through coaching techniques, enhancing their ability to support children's growth and inclusion in settings and activities.
* Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, guiding families through NDIS plan applications and implementation.
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
* Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention, including identifying developmental issues.
* Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays or disabilities, implementing effective strategies in home and setting-based environments.
* Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention principles, as well as the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
