Position Details Position Summary This role provides high-level administrative, operational, and project support to the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director.
This is a full-time, primarily remote position with required in-person work one day per week in Lansing and additional onsite support during statewide events.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to self-manage in a remote environment.
This position supports MAASE's internal operations, communications, data systems, and grant projects—including the paraeducator training initiative.
Key Responsibilities Administrative associate's degree preferred but experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Experience in a professional administrative, clerical, or support role.
Strong digital literacy and comfort with cloud-based tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote environment.
Professional, friendly, and responsive customer-service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
Familiarity with QuickBooks or light bookkeeping tasks.
Experience with an AMS (Novi preferred, similar systems acceptable).
Experience supporting events or working in the nonprofit sector.
Comfort with Google Workspace, Zoom, digital scheduling tools, and online systems.
Experience managing competing deadlines in a remote setting.
Work Environment Primarily remote with required in-office work in Lansing at least one day per week.
Regular onsite support required for events (Lansing, Traverse City, and other Michigan locations).
Standard office hours with some flexibility around event schedules.
