TEKsystems has been engaged to work on a Fast Track App Assure Manager for an initial 12 months contract to support a Global Technology Leader. Key Responsibilities for the Position Include:
1. Customer Engagement:
o Assist customers in addressing application compatibility issues when migrating to newer Microsoft software versions (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps, etc.).
o Provide expert guidance and support to ensure smooth transitions and minimize downtime for customers.
2. Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Enablement:
o Engage proactively with ISVs to assist in the development and optimization of their applications for Arm64 processors.
o Facilitate integration of ISV applications with Microsoft Security products (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Sentinel, Microsoft Security Copilot, and External Authentication Methods).
3. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
o Work closely with CSS support engineers, FastTrack roles, Product Managers, and Account Teams (CSAM, CSA, AE) to resolve compatibility issues and deliver a unified customer experience.
o Partner with strategic internal stakeholders such as MVI and ADEPT to drive alignment and execution of customer and ISV initiatives.
4. Technical Expertise and Support:
o Provide detailed troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of complex application compatibility issues.
o Share insights and best practices to optimize applications for environments such as Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows Cloud PC.
5. Proactive Problem-Solving:
o Identify and address compatibility challenges before they impact customers by leveraging telemetry, customer feedback, and strategic engagements.
o Stay updated on the latest developments in Microsoft software and hardware, including emerging technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build strong relationships with customers, ISVs, and internal teams to understand their goals and challenges.
o Advocate for customer and ISV needs to inform product roadmaps and enhancements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in technical support, application compatibility, software development, or related roles.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Microsoft Security products.
* Previous experience working with ISVs or managing customer application transitions is highly desirable.
