Our client is an award-winning construction and property development business based in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney. They have been in business for nearly 20 years and delivered high-end residential new builds and renovations projects — all with a robust emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
As a Site Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish. You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will act as the on-site representative, collaborating with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. You will be working with some of the best architects in Australia and projects will be range between $2m to $6m.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations on site: planning, scheduling, coordinating trades, and monitoring progress
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies
Monitor project budgets and costs; identify variances and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting, including daily diaries and RFIs
Ensure quality assurance through regular inspections and defect management
Lead and mentor on-site staff to drive performance and maintain high standards
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Site Manager/Site Foreman in residential, commercial, or multi-residential construction
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building regulations
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with site management software and MS Office
Solid understanding of WHS legislation and best practices
Carpentry and Builders License
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various sites
