About the role:
Water Resources Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to support clients and their projects. These may include land developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing flooding risk and stormwater through investigations, modeling, design, mapping, and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include assessing, modeling, and reporting on stormwater and floodplain systems across urban, rural, and coastal environments.
You will also focus on designing detention basins, wetlands, and reuse systems, with a strong emphasis on creating innovative solutions in hydrological, hydraulic, and water quality modeling.
This role requires proficiency in tools like MUSIC, DRAINS, TUFLOW, and QGIS, as well as a deep understanding of their applications.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Water Resources Engineering or a related field.
* Civil or Environmental Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
* Strong knowledge of software packages such as MUSIC, DRAINS, TUFLOW, and QGIS.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
