Overview
The role is based at our Processing Plant – a facility that transforms raw materials from underground into finished or refined products using automated machinery, electrical systems and control equipment. As an electrician, you will maintain, fault-find and improve these systems to ensure safe and efficient production. You will work across motors, conveyors, PLCs and high‐voltage equipment, and also support residential infrastructure such as housing and workshop facilities.
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, conveyors, PLCs and high‐voltage equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Work independently or as part of a team. Transition from a domestic or commercial background into the mining industry with support and training from the processing team.
Qualifications
* NSW Electrical licence
* NSW manual driver's licence
* Ability to read and interpret schematics
* High mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work safely, independently and as part of a team
* High Voltage Switching/Operator training (Highly Regarded)
* Working Safely at Heights (Highly Regarded)
* Confined Space Ticket (Highly Regarded)
* High Risk Work Licence – Forklift/EWP (Highly Regarded)
* LVCPR certification (Highly Regarded)
* Mining or Industrial Electrical experience (Highly Regarded)
* Knowledge and understanding of PLCs, VSDs and motor control systems (Highly Regarded)
* Open Cabling Registration (Highly Regarded)
