Research Assistant - Molecular Biology The Research Assistant will be responsible for developing and testing a CRISPR activation (CRISPRa) approach to viral control, initially using in vitro cell culture models with possible subsequent work in mouse models of virus infection. This role will require genetic and molecular manipulation of CRISPRa components, in vitro cultivation of mammalian cells and viral infections in a PC2 laboratory setting. The Research Assistant will undertake laboratory activities associated with the project, ensuring the laboratory is operating according to relevant standard operating procedures and risk assessments. Salary: $71,460 - $78,326 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.
