Senior Associate, Disputes & Economics

Position Overview
This role supports the Ankura Disputes and Economics practice. The Senior Associate works with clients on financial, accounting and economic issues in litigation and other disputes, preparing expert evidence and consulting advice. The role is based in the Melbourne office.
Responsibilities
* Prepare damages assessments, valuations, and analyse technical accounting issues
* Prepare economic analyses and conduct financial investigations
* Build complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses
* Draft high‐quality expert reports and other deliverables
* Work directly with top litigators and expert witnesses
* Develop internal and external relationships
* Progress toward becoming an expert witness
Requirements
* Recent promotion to Manager, Assistant Manager/Supervisor or a highly experienced Senior Consultant/Senior Analyst at a professional services firm, preferably in forensic or disputes practice; experience in valuations or transaction services acceptable
* Completed or on track to complete a post‐graduate qualification (CA preferred) within the next 12 months
* Strong analytical skills and experience building financial models
* Flexible problem‐solving approach with critical thinking and good judgement
* Excellent report writing and communication skills for tailored audiences
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
