Airnorth is seeking motivated local applicants for our first ever intake of apprentice aircraft maintenance engineers - mechanical (B1.1) or avionics (B2) to join our engineering team based at the Perth Airport.
Applicants should have a passion for aviation and be committed to safety and a compliant work environment.
The successful applicant will perform aircraft maintenance including the removal and installation of aircraft components, support the issue, supply and management of tooling and equipment, assist with creating and updating work orders, maintain a detailed apprenticeship journal, and undertake activities such as housekeeping of the hangar facility.
We are looking for someone who has completed aviation studies (advantageous but not essential), demonstrated a strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills, good level of eye and hand coordination skills, ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

As part of the selection process, applicants will be required to undergo aptitude testing, drug and alcohol testing, national police/criminal history check, ability to hold and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), have full working rights in Australia, hold a current driver's licence, and must have completed Year 10.
