Position Title: Remedial Massage Therapist/Myotherapist
Island Sports Clinic is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic located in the beautiful town of Cowes, Phillip Island.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced therapist in remedial massage/myotherapist who is looking to build a strong client base with both our existing clientele and attract new clients into the business.
This is a great opportunity to work with a friendly, dynamic team collaboratively, sharing knowledge and establishing professional relationships.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Performing remedial massage therapy/myotherapy treatments professionally / at a high skill level
- Employing other techniques together with the treatment such as Trigger Point Release, Shiatsu, Muscle Energy Technique, depending on the client’s conditions and requests
- Assessing clients’ physical condition and advise if further exercises and relaxation techniques are required
- Attending team meetings and professional development sessions
- Marketing including self-marketing and contributing marketing the entire clinic.
You Will Need:
- A Diploma in Massage Therapy/Myotherapy
- At least two years’ experience as a Massage Therapist/Myotherapist
- Ability to perform 6-7 deep tissue remedial massages consecutively
- Professional presentation
- A current first aid certificate
- Association membership, provider number for health funds and professional indemnity insurance
Salary offered:
$70,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience
Full-time position. Hours are flexible.
