The Opportunity
This role sits within our Procurement function and supports the end-to-end delivery of civil works packages across utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
You will leverage your civil engineering background to support procurement strategy, subcontractor engagement, estimating, and cost control, while developing strong commercial capability in a high-growth renewable energy environment.
You will work closely with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, and Project teams across Australia and New Zealand, contributing from tender stage through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement of civil works packages including earthworks, drainage, roads, and foundations
* Engage, evaluate, and negotiate with civil subcontractors and suppliers to achieve best value outcomes
* Review civil drawings and specifications to ensure procurement aligns with project scope and requirements
* Prepare RFQs, assess tender submissions, and ensure technical and commercial compliance
* Undertake quantity take-offs and support development and validation of civil cost estimates and BOQs
* Analyse subcontractor pricing and contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
About You
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering
* 3-5 years' experience in civil construction or infrastructure delivery
* Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site-based delivery
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Interest in developing skills in procurement, estimating, and commercial management
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
