AP/AR Officer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Officer to join the Umbrella Entertainment team. This role requires 2+ years' experience in a similar position, handling efficient, accurate, and timely undertaking of AP/AR and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reconcile purchase orders and bills in Xero, managing supplier accounts/accounts payable.
* Raise invoices and proactively manage accounts receivable, including debt collection, discussed and reported weekly.
* Perform daily bank reconciliations, matching customer deposits and supplier payments in Xero.
* Process bank payments, including payments to suppliers and licensors.
* Credit card allocation and reconciliation.
* Month-end reconciliations of AP & AR accounts.
* Reconcile between Xero and rights/royalty management software.
* Liaise with Financial Controller on proposed payments and authorisation of payments.
* Attend to customer and supplier queries, including licensors when required.
* General office management and admin tasks as directed.
About You:
* Demonstrated hands-on experience using Xero for these activities.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Proven reconciliation skills and experience.
