You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role at the heart of Westpac Institutional Bank and Treasury, where your expertise in financial crime risk will shape how we operate with integrity across global markets. As a strategic advisor and oversight lead, you’ll guide senior stakeholders through complex regulatory landscapes—covering AML/CTF, sanctions, anti-bribery, and tax transparency. You’ll embed risk awareness into business decisions, influence governance, and help drive a culture of accountability and compliance. This is a full-time role, Sydney based, however open to other locations with flexibility to work across time zones and collaborate with teams offshore. It’s bold, high-impact, and anything but business-as-usual. What do I need? We’re after a sharp thinker and strategic partner who can lead with insight and influence. You’ll bring: Deep expertise in financial crime risk —you understand the regulatory environment inside out and can translate complex requirements into practical, business-friendly advice.
