As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to follow up new business opportunities, nurture client relationships and meet sales targets.
This is a junior role, perfect for someone from the hospitality, retail, call centre or service sectors who's ready to transition into a business environment.
You'll play an important role in ensuring that sales operations run smoothly, client interactions are seamless, and daily tasks are completed efficiently. The role will also involve supporting more seasoned sales professionals.
All of your leads will be warm & inbound, you won't need to be headhunting or knocking down doors to get deals done, everything comes inbound, this role will be to manage the whole sales cycle from lead to close.
This is not a lead generation role, you will be able to manage the full sales cycle of inbound leads and close deals from a business development perspective.
Role responsibilities
New Business Development by cultivating and converting new leads through various channels, but mainly via automated lead generation.
Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet quarterly sales quotas, consistently striving for revenue growth and contributing to the company's overall success.
Help prepare proposals, presentations, and reports.
Track and update sales activities, timelines, and deliverables
Client Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to address their challenges
Support in administering the product trial process with our customers.
Shadow sales calls and meetings to build product and client knowledge
Gain hands-on exposure to sales processes in preparation for future progression
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company objectives
Role requirements
1 + years experience in sales as a sales represenatitive, sales person or business development manager
Previous experience in a customer facing sales role either B2C or B2B, preferably in software or hardware sales, with an initial understanding of technology products/services (Not essential but desirable)
An ability or initial understanding on how to build and a pipeline of leads and convert them into successful sales.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a professional, but approachable style. Good presentation skills.
Proactive, reliable and eager to take initiative. Eagerness to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
