About a precision engineering apprenticeship, you will learn to master crafting, assembling and maintaining mechanical components. You'll develop skills needed for fabricating and repairing parts with precision.
Key responsibilities:
* Operate manual machine tools, including milling, grinding, and turning.
* Disassemble and assemble equipment.
* Perform repairs and maintenance of existing equipment.
* Solve problems and work with plant and water pipelines.
* Comply with occupational health and safety policies.
Requirements:
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
* Must commit to a full-time 4-year apprenticeship.
* A pre-apprenticeship Certificate II is preferred but not essential.
* Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (paid by employer).
* A driver's license and car are ideal.
* Reside in the Bass Coast or South Gippsland region.
