About ACCWA
The Animal Cancer Centre of Western Australia (ACCWA) is WA's first and only dedicated veterinary oncology centre, led by WA's most experienced specialist veterinary oncologist.
Everything we do is centred around providing exceptional care for pets with cancer and supporting the families who love them.
The Opportunity
This role combines veterinary nursing with communication, marketing, and digital engagement responsibilities.
Opportunities may include:
* Veterinary nursing and patient care
* Managing and growing ACCWA's social media platforms
* Creating engaging content for pet owners and veterinarians
* Website updates and development
* Photography and videography
* Community engagement and event support
* Client communication initiatives
* Exploring new technologies and digital solutions
Who We're Looking For
A registered veterinary nurse who is:
* Outgoing, energetic, and confident communicating with people
* Passionate about social media and content creation
* Creative and full of ideas
* Organised and self‐motivated
* Compassionate and emotionally intelligent
* Excited about helping shape the future of a growing specialist practice
Role Details
* Approximately 2–3 weekdays per week
* Saturday morning shifts may be available
* Flexible scheduling where possible
Importantly, this role offers genuine opportunity for growth. Additional hours may become available during periods of staff leave, and there is potential for the position to expand into a permanent full‐time role as ACCWA continues to grow.

Requirements
* Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Veterinary Surgeons' Board of WA
* Veterinary nursing qualification
* Previous nursing experience preferred but not essential
* Two professional referees, including one veterinary referee
* Either a social media‐style post or a 30‐second video introducing yourself and telling us what makes you unique
