EbonFX is a fast-growing financial services firm specialising in foreign exchange, OTC execution, digital assets, credit, and trade finance solutions for corporate and institutional clients.

We operate across a fast-paced, multi-entity environment where accuracy, ownership, and commercial judgement matter. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high‐calibre Graduate Operations Analyst to join our team and build a career across financial markets operations, treasury, risk, and the full trade lifecycle. This is not a passive back‐office role.

You will be involved in the day‐to‐day engine room of the business — supporting settlement processes, liquidity coordination, client facilitation, trade documentation, reconciliation, audit preparation, and operational issue resolution across fiat and digital asset activities.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, trading teams, compliance, technology, counterparties, and external partners, giving you practical exposure to how financial markets businesses operate in real time.

What You'll Do

• Conduct balance checks, reconciliation, and failed‐trade investigations, escalating anomalies and driving resolution with internal teams or external counterparties.
• Process inbound and outbound SWIFT messages, ensuring accurate and timely payment updates in line with settlement deadlines.
• Support daily liquidity calculations and assist with morning funding requirements across counterparties and business lines.
• Manage operational and client queries with urgency, professionalism, and clear communication from issue through to resolution.
• Support OTC client facilitation activities, including trade documentation and coordination across relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with credit management and trade finance activities, including exposure monitoring, limit utilisation, and facility documentation.
• Support audit preparation, issue resolution, and the maintenance of a well‐controlled, audit‐ready operating environment.
• Perform reconciliation and operational support for the firm's digital asset and blockchain‐adjacent activities.
• Contribute to operational improvements by identifying inefficient workflows and proposing practical solutions to strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and improve straight‐through processing.
• Participate in cross‐functional projects and system enhancements, representing the needs and priorities of the operations function.

What We're Looking For

• An undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Graduate or early‐career experience in financial services, treasury, operations, settlements, payments, or a related function.
• Internship, placement, or work experience in banking, fintech, FX, digital assets, payments, or financial markets will be highly regarded.
• A strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, FX, digital assets, treasury, and operational risk.
• Strong numerical aptitude and a meticulous approach to data validation, reconciliation, and process accuracy.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw practical conclusions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy under time pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain operational issues to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative working style and the confidence to build relationships across trading desks, compliance, technology, and external counterparties.

Highly Regarded, But Not Essential

• Understanding of FX markets, trade lifecycles, OTC instruments, payments, or treasury operations.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, trade booking systems, treasury management platforms, or reconciliation tools.
• Coding or automation experience, including Python, VBA, SQL, or similar.
• Exposure to digital assets, blockchain operations, or crypto‐related reconciliation processes.
