We are seeking a Consultant to join our growing Indirect Tax team. The Indirect Tax practice has established itself as a major player within Queensland's marketplace, advising leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base. This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to grow your skills in various areas of indirect tax like goods and services tax (GST), fuel tax credits, stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax. Key responsibilities will include : Apply your legal and research skills to advise on complex structures, deals, and commercial activities. Develop your client management skills through attending meetings and dealing directly with client queries. Grow professionally, including expansion of legal skills (research, consulting and problem solving) through analysis and application of legislation and case law. Develop meaningful professional connections and expand your network through this role, creating valuable opportunities for your career growth and advancement. Be part of a close‐knit, highly collaborative team with a strong culture of support and knowledge‐sharing to supporting professional qualifications such as CA, Demonstrated experience in tax or business services within professional services, a law firm, or the government (Australian Taxation Office or a state revenue office).
