With the creation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Federal Australian Agencies we're building a high-performance team to guide major agencies through the how of ERP migration - with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact.
Initially, an 18-month transformation program, this high-profile, strategic initiative will be the successful candidate's initial assignment, before transitioning into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area to extend the best practices and knowledge gained there.

About the Role: The Delivery Executive is a critical member of the Delivery Success team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) ANZ business and integral to the successful delivery of SAP cloud projects.
The Delivery Executive will be responsible for the overall management of multiple projects or programs throughout their lifecycle.
Candidates will need to demonstrate experience and business acumen in managing large scale, high risk, strategic projects/portfolios, and engagements that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors.
They provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria.
The Delivery Executive ensures adherence to appropriate methodologies around Project & Program management.
Experience with SAP's Activate methodology or equivalent is desirable.
The Delivery Executive also assists during the Bid Phase of the customer engagement by providing input into the proposal especially around delivery methodology and delivery model, project structure, organization, scoping, estimation and risk assessment.
The Delivery Executive is:Responsible for delivery, governance and outcomes of SAP Cloud projects throughout all stages of the delivery lifecycleA trusted partner for our customers, partners, internal leadership and key stakeholdersResponsible for communicating and coordinating with employees at all levels of the organization including senior management, consultants and vendor resourcesDrives the establishment of plans, schedules, tasks, as well as identifying risks, determining mitigations and contingencies, and reporting the status of projects, plus other project management activitiesProvides senior leadership to critical and strategic engagements and drives the delivery of project outcomes as defined in the relevant contractual documentsSupports the development of mutually agreed customer success criteria for the project engagementsDelivers successful outcomes as per the agreed commercial framework, SAP delivery methodology, relevant project management standards and tools which includes SAP Activate, SAP Rise Methodology, Clean Core principles and utilizes the integrated tool chainDelivers projects and engagements in line with KPIs, Revenue Targets and Margin expectationsLeads and works across matrixed CS&D teams to support the delivery of seamless customer experience and delivery success across the wider services and support portfolio including Preferred Success, Cloud Application Services, Training & Adoption, Sovereign Cloud Delivery, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery, Product and Cloud Infrastructure SupportBeing a team player and knowledge sharing with peers is an essential part of the SAP culture Key Responsibilities: Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners, and SAP account teams.
Other key competencies of this role include the ability to: Sales Support and Opportunity ManagementRepresent delivery to drive and define the project scope, schedule (including dependencies and integration components), resourcing, effort estimations and risk assessment for key deals and opportunitiesSupport solutioning of deals so that they can be delivered successfully from customer outcomes perspective but also from a delivery and financial perspectiveEnsure appropriate methodologies are incorporated, including usage of SAP accelerators, tailored to Customer needs to commercial documentsContribute to Project Proposal Reviews conducted with the customer by advocating the project delivery plan and Cloud Project Delivery approach Executional excellence:Ability to consistently achieve results and exceed targets.Monitor revenue, margin and take corrective action to ensure commitments are met.Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions that create successful and predictable outcomes for their engagements and customers.Actively participate in delivery governance and program SteerCo with customersInterface with internal functions and leverage support across the organisation to ensure visibility and transparency of results and effective implementation of improvement initiativesEmpower Project Managers and junior team members to manage within their engagement level accountabilities, maintaining oversight and acting as an escalation point when issues escalateFocus on customer service and quality, proactively manage engagement top risks/issues across multiple engagementsUnderstand Partner Management aspects relevant to individual customers to assist with implementation of effective governance and delivery of outcomes Operational ExcellenceEnsure transparency and predictability of engagements under delivery within SAP, Partners and Customers.Maintain highest standards of business integrity and compliance on all programsDrive compliance through utilization of internal tools and adhering to processes to support customer engagementsDrive the use of latest SAP delivery methods and best practice such as Clean Core and Integrated Toolchains to support quality outcomes and manage exceptionsEnsure effective execution of all Project management activities (planning, monitoring, and controlling), including:Project planning: WBS, deliverables, dependencies, owners, due dates, links to other related plansProject resource planning and managementReview SoWs for 3rd Parties and sub-contracting entitiesOptimize the use of nearshore and offshore delivery by SAP and its partners to achieve cost advantages for the customer and for SAPProject financial planning and management, ensuring a complete and accurate view is available on request, covering actual data from start to date, and forecast date until Project completion.Scope management covering full scope definition against the original Statement of Work (or initial Project scope), incorporating the Project Change Management Process records.Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log/processes and conduct regular RAID Review meetings, documenting decisions, actions and outcomes.Anticipate the required course of action to proactively manage operational and business risks to the projectManage the Project deliverable reviews and approval processes, within stated contractual timeline, recording of Minutes of reviews and related approvals.Work closely with Project Sponsors and Project Review Boards to facilitate timely decisions necessary for Project delivery.Manage escalations and take accountability for the de-escalation process, coordinating recovery activities, negotiations, and stakeholder's engagement as necessaryEnsure lessons learnt are captured and feedback provided to appropriate stakeholders.Ensure knowledge transfer to the subsequent owner in life cycle has occurred to support efficient operationsCelebrate Project success with teams, using SAP Awards practices, internal communication to the region and to the team leadership.
Governance & ReportingEnsure all Project activities are performed in accordance with SAP Methodology, Quality Standards, Reporting and Governance frameworks.Build a trusting and efficient working relationship with the Customer and 3rd party stakeholdersEnsure governance forums are operationalized and recorded as per the governance model .
