Responsibilities
* Safely operate large dump trucks to transport ore and waste rock from the pit to dumping areas.
* Conduct pre‐start checks, post‐shift equipment checks, refuel and clean trucks.
* Interpret and apply survey instructions and mine plan to achieve production results.
* Work with the Open Pit Shift Supervisor and cross‐shift operators during equipment handovers.
* Follow mine plan instructions to maintain loading and haulage cycle efficiency.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months of dump truck experience (100+ tonne capacity) in the mining industry.
* Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class "C" Driver's Licence.
* Experience operating CAT and Komatsu dump trucks, water carts and graders.
* Desirable: previous open‐pit mining environment experience.
