About the Role
The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Coordinator is a role that focuses on managing contractors, ensuring project works meets or exceeds company standards, and provides technical governance and oversight.
This role will be based in Huntly and will act as a key point of contact for external teams and ensuring all E&I activities align with the asset owner's strategic goals, safety protocols, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-Technical Governance and Compliance.
-Oversight on delivery of electrical packages of work.
-Participate in the Hazard Risk assessments.
-Provide Operational Support where required.
-Focal point for all stake holder communications relating to the E&I scope packages.
-Accountability for Supervision and Coordination of multiple Contractor working groups in the execution of the E&I Scope of Works.
-Ensure that Contractors follow and meet the requirements of standards and all legislative requirements applicable to their works.
-Act as the interface between construction Contractors, and Engineering Service Provider (ESP) throughout all stages of the construction program.
-Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Policies and Procedures and the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safey (Mines) Regulations 2022.
-Ensures appropriate QA/QC processes are in place to ensure all works are being completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
-Manages implementation of scope changes within Extra work and scheduling allowances via change control process.
-Ensures Contractors have all necessary permits approved and in place for all onsite works.
-Coordination of worksite access between Contractors, Operational, and Maintenance personnel.

Key Qualifications
* Trade qualification, Current WA "A Grade" Electrical Licence (essential)
* An additional trade certificate in Instrumentation (highly desirable).
* Certifications such as High Voltage (HV) Switching, Hazardous Area Training (desirable).
* Certificate IV in Frontline Management (Preferred).
* Completion of BSBWHS414 and BSBWHS411 (Preferred).
