Work under a Red Seal Chef preparing food items in accordance with Bootleg Gap's high standards. Whether you have little experience or several years, we could have a job for you, we hire for multiple positions in the kitchen each season. We have a $1/hr bonus for full time employees that work the full golf season. Anyone with an interest in a career in cooking would be ideal. I am able to oversee hours towards a Red Seal, and we do a lot of from scratch cooking so there are plenty of opportunities to learn valuable skills. All kitchen employees receive a share of the tip pool, which is based on the number of hours worked.

Duties
Duties Include:
* Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the menu
* Being aware of food costs by maintaining fresh products and rotating old products out
* Working in a fast-paced, team environment
* Working with other clubhouse employees. A positive attitude is a must.
About Bootleg Gap Golf
Bootleg Gap Golf is a 27-hole public golf facility located in Kimberley, BC. This Les Furber designed facility features an 18-hole Championship, a unique 9-hole course and one of the largest clubhouses in the Kootenays. The clubhouse includes indoor and outdoor seating and can accommodate large banquets and private functions. Our golf season is from mid-April to mid-October. We also offer two state of the art golf simulators in the clubhouse from November to April. The overall operation of Bootleg Gap focuses on the recreational aspects and overall enjoyment of the game of golf. Employment at Bootleg Gap includes excellent golf privileges.
Retention Bonus Pay: Cooks will receive a bonus at the end of the golf season - $1 for every hour worked.
