About The Team
The Pharmacy team at Peter Mac plays a key role in supporting high quality patient care, incorporating all facets of innovative clinical pharmacy practice.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the pharmacy team provides a comprehensive patient-focused service for all Peter Mac patients, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all treatments, including clinical trials.
With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and collaboration, the team contributes directly to advancing cancer treatment through research and improving outcomes - keeping patient care at the centre of everything we do.
About The Role
As a Grade 2 Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to acquire an intricate understanding of, and develop specialty practice in, ambulatory and ward-based cancer pharmacy services, as well as cleanroom operations.
This may also include the development of directed projects and involvement in ongoing educational programs.
You will also enjoy working in a busy, team-based environment when striving towards providing excellent patient care.
In conjunction with other members of the team, you will:
Assess, monitor and provide appropriate drug therapy advice for individual patients
Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records
Uphold excellence in pharmacy standards and practice
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, regulations, policies, and quality standards

About You
You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll Bring With You
AHPRA registration or be eligible for registration.
Well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills.
Previous experience in oncology pharmacy practice is highly desirable.
