Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a Trainee Service Advisor to join a well-known multi franchise dealership located in Moorooka.
Responsibilities
* Greet service customers as they arrive at the service department to have their vehicles serviced or repaired.
* Support and learn from the service advisors and service manager as they work to maximise customer satisfaction and manage the process of servicing and repairing customers cars as quickly and efficiently as possible.
* Book customers in for services or repairs, over the phone or in person.
* Answer incoming phone calls and learn the appropriate way to handle each type of enquiry.
* Make outbound calls to customers for various reasons including updating them on the progress of their vehicles service or repairs.
* Learn the day-to-day operations of a service department and workshop.
* Support the service advisors and servicer manager with pricing, quoting and invoicing of customer service and repair jobs.
* Support the service team with managing the service loan cars given to customers when their cars are being serviced.
* Support the service manager with keeping the service reception tidy, clear of obstructions and to help ensure it's a secure work.
Qualifications
* Previous mechanical or service department experience is beneficial.
* Excellent face to face communication and customer service capability.
* Excellent phone manner and written communication skills.
* Preferably hold a valid driver's
* Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
* Ability to work well in a team and add to a outstanding working culture.
* Reliable and self-motivated working within OH&S guidelines.
