Job Description
Horseperson is responsible for carrying out allocated cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guests' needs and exceed their expectations in regard to the cleanliness of the room areas of the Hotel.
* Assist the Housekeeping team through the delivery of all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work.
* Ensure security of all keys and equipment during your shift. Follow guest confidentiality guidelines.
* Ensure high standards of property presentation, hygiene and cleanliness. Ensure economical use of chemicals and linen.
* Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, that storage rooms and trolleys are kept neat and in good working order.
* Ensure all corridors are free of trays, linen trolleys or cages.
* Assist with the removal of rollaway beds and cots.
* Assist guests with general enquiries.
Qualifications
* Service oriented with an eye for detail.
* Have the ability to work rotating 7 day roster.
* Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
* A hands‐on and proactive work ethic and you enjoy getting things done.
* Demonstrated ability to comfortably take initiative and work as a team.
* Demonstrated time management skills.
* Knowledge of appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes, ensuring safe work practices are always adhered to.
