SOAK Hospitality is entering its next chapter, and we are looking for the chef who wants to help lead it.
This is not just another Head Chef job.
This is an opportunity to step into an established, growing hospitality business with a strong reputation across the Pilbara, and play a real role in where we go next.
We are looking for a chef who wants ownership.
Someone who can lead our Dampier kitchen now, help grow our catering and functions arm, and position themselves for a future Group Head Chef role as we prepare to open our new Karratha venue in late 2026.
If you are the kind of chef who looks at a menu and sees opportunity, who understands food trends but also understands numbers, who can lead a team through a busy service and then sit down and properly look at food cost, KPIs, systems and menu performance, we want to hear from you.
What we are building
SOAK started as a mobile coffee van and has grown into one of the Pilbara's trusted hospitality names across café dining, catering, functions and events.
Now we are ready for the next stage.
Catering is growing. Events are growing. A new Karratha venue is coming. And we want the right chef beside us as we build it properly.
This is a role for someone who wants more than just a roster and a kitchen.
It is for someone who wants to put their stamp on a business that is moving forward.
The role now
You will start as Head Chef at SOAK in Dampier, leading our busy café kitchen and helping us continue to lift food quality, consistency, systems and team culture.
You will need to be hands‐on and able to lead from the front when service is busy.
But this is also a serious admin and systems role.
You will need to be confident with food costing, ordering, stock control, menu engineering, KPIs, kitchen reporting, catering planning and operating systems such as Restoke.
We are not looking for someone who only wants to cook and avoid the paperwork.
We are looking for someone who understands that a great kitchen is built on great food, strong systems, clear standards and a team that knows where it is going.
