Due to the ongoing growth in the company there is an opportunity for a Senior Credit Officer or Credit Manager to join the Melbourne team. Your new role: As a Senior Credit Officer you will be: Assessing and recommending and/or approving mortgage loan applications within the BC Invest credit policy A comprehensive understanding the National Credit Policy, property valuations and Equifax reports. Managing credit risk and ensuring all credit policies and guidelines are maintained and applied to appropriate decisions Demonstrating due diligence and attention to detail; reviewing and extracting information from documentation, such as income & financial statements, trust deeds and identification documents, to confirm creditworthiness. Providing outstanding and professional customer service to our referral partners, customers and internal stakeholders Building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our referral partners, customers, internal & external stakeholders Delivering on the business Service Level agreements to our referral partners Ideally, we are looking for someone with:- 2-3 years' experience in lending (non-bank considered favourable) Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage broking preferred Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated, and self-sufficient Show ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacity Strong administrative, attention to detail and time management skills Learn quickly, adapt to change and to work under pressure ‘Can Do' Attitude!
