About the role
We are looking for an experienced HandyPerson / Skilled Labourer who can handle hand and power tools, apply themselves to various building and construction tasks with a general knowledge of the industry.
This role will be working on retirement villages, government properties and NDIS. It is a full-time permanent opportunity.
Key responsibilities for the role
* Proven experience and understanding of maintenance and refurbishments in different settings of construction
* Carpentry
* General handyman
* Understanding general mechanics of all facets of maintenance including plumbing electrical and tiling -
* Caulking
* General patch and paint plaster- (ready for paint) – Must be able to flush
* Ability to sheet small walls with plaster
* Ability to diagnose issues
Skills & Experience
* Valid SA Drivers Licence
* Hold a current Working with Children's check or willing to apply for one
* Hold a current Police check or willing to apply for one
* Have your own set of tools
