Annual Salary up to $195,391 pa plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

Casuarina Campus (with travel to regional and remote locations)

As Head of Discipline, you will provide visionary leadership in research, teaching, and community engagement, driving innovation and growth that is critical to health and wellbeing across the Territory and beyond.

You will spearhead a period of significant development for the discipline, creating new offerings, responding to industry needs, and working closely with key stakeholders to shape programs that matter. This is a rare opportunity to position yourself and CDU as leaders in Exercise and Sport Science education, research, and innovative service delivery.


About You

To succeed, you will bring:

* A PhD in Exercise and Sport Science or related discipline, with an outstanding record of research and scholarship.
* Current accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
* Proven leadership in curriculum development, research strategy, service/ program development.
* A track record of securing funding and delivering impactful projects.
* The ability to inspire and mentor staff and students, and to build strong networks across government, industry, and community.


Remuneration

Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level E. The base salary will be $195,391 per annum. The total remuneration package will be $228,607 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
