About the role
The Accommodation Manager is responsible for oversight of all aspects of managing the accommodation department. This will include budget, business plans, human resource functions, policies and procedures. The role requires all aspects to be aligned with relevant legalisation and will manage the provision of accommodation for staff who have award entitlements or contractual arrangements. The role will be required to provide reports on status of all accommodation to relevant stakeholders identifing risks and opportunities inline with the organisational plan.
We are looking for:
3. Relevant tertiary qualifications or minimum certificate III in Business Administration
4. Demonstrated experience working with real estate agents and dealing with rental properties
5. Competency in the use of information and communication technology including experience in use of the Microsoft office suite, financial information management system and electronic communication tools
6. Demonstrated experience producing reports
7. Understanding of tenancy legislation and managing contracts
8. Flexible approach to hours of duty
9. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
10. Strong personal organisation skills, the ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
11. Experience in maintaining a high level of confidentiality
