Job Description
As a General Factory Hand at Quatro Design, you will be a vital part of our production team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of factory tasks, including production mixing, assembly, packing, quality control, and operation of a counterbalance forklift to ensure smooth and safe production processes. We have both casual and full‐time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with general factory duties such as assembly, packing, and quality control to meet production standards.
* Must be physically fit to complete product batching and mixing procedures.
* Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company policies.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, including the forklift, to ensure operational safety.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and address any issues.
Requirements
* Valid counterbalance forklift licence, desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Capability to lift and handle heavy items when needed.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
