The Role
A Fixed Term Registered Midwife position is available at our Ballarat or Horsham Campus. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to provide support and guidance to early entry career Registered Midwives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide realistic learning experiences to consolidate professional and personal development per the standards of practice, code of conduct, and national accreditation standards in caring for women throughout their pregnancy, birth, postnatal period, and infants requiring special care.
* Combine a practical and theoretical program to enable the early entry career RM grounding in the nursing/midwifery profession.
Requirements
We require applicants to have:
* A relevant qualification as a Registered Midwife.
* Certified copies of academic transcripts including mid-year results of 4th year.
* Certified copies of ALL Clinical Appraisals interim and final SUMMARIES (including 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year of study).
* Two professional referees.
Working Conditions
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with variable EFT and hours. We also require employees to wear Personal Protective Equipment when required.
