About the Role
This is a senior leadership role combining general management with business development.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing our existing client base, strengthening relationships, improving commercial performance, and identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth.
You will work closely with the owners and key stakeholders, taking ownership of day-to-day operations while driving sales, strategy, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Grow and strengthen the existing client base through proactive relationship management
Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
Lead and manage overall business operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability
Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company goals
Oversee sales performance, pricing strategies, and margin improvement
Manage and motivate staff, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture
Represent the business professionally within the plumbing and construction industry
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a General Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar senior role
Strong background in sales, account management, and business growth
Experience within plumbing supplies, construction, building products, or a related industry (highly regarded)
Demonstrated ability to grow existing client relationships and revenue
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Commercially minded with solid financial and operational understanding
Self-motivated, hands-on, and results driven
