**Job Description**:
As the Anatomy Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing large, state of the art anatomy facilities across two campuses, servicing the teaching and learning, surgical training and anatomical research.
In this position you will work closely with the Chair of Anatomy and assist in fulfilling their responsibilities under the Transplantation and Anatomy Act 1979 (Qld) and other relevant regulations and legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reporting for the technical and administrative obligations of the anatomy facilities to ensure Griffith University's complies with all relevant legislation
- Supervision and leadership of technical and administrative staff in the facility and respective specimen preparation facilities, and oversight of the University's Body Donation Program
- Effective collaboration with the Technical Services team in Health, academic staff and external stakeholders.
**Salary Range**
The base salary for a HEW Level 8 position is in the range $105,596 - $118,792 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $123,547 - $138,986 per annum.
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this position, you will hold relevant academic qualification in human anatomy, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:
- Management experience in operating human anatomy laboratories with an understanding of the Queensland Transplantation & Anatomy Act, Coroners Act (and associated Regulations)
- Familiarity with the reporting obligations and documentation of the operations within anatomy facilities.
- Evidence of a passion for innovation in anatomical preparation and learning tools, with a strong desire to build a career within this field.
- Experience in the administration of a Body Donation Program.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate with a wide variety of partners, clients and stakeholders.
